【摘要】 本文主要讨论传统文学观念在近代引进外国小说时所起的作用。梁启超等人继承"文以载道"的传统文学思想,赋予了外国政治小说、科学小说及侦探小说以开启民智、改革社会政治的重大使命,使外国小说受到了文人读者的普遍欢迎。梁启超等人对外国小说作家身份地位的渲染,也激发了近代文人翻译外国小说的热情。本文认为,林纾以古文翻译外国小说,对国人了解外国小说的艺术成就、并最终接受外国小说起到了至关重要的作用。更多还原
