【Abstract】 A Fable is one of Faulkner’s later works.In the novel,Faulkner expresses his faith in man and his concern for humanity.The novel reflects Faulkner’s notion of Christian humanism,the three main characters in the novel take different attitudes towards evil.In A Fable,Faulkner’s intention is not to approve of or to condemn people.He is not concerned with making one final judgment of the human race.He wants to emphasize that man is capable of improvement in fighting against evil.And the hope of improvement helps people achieve self-salvation.更多还原
