【Abstract】 Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is a very important therapy for patients with end stage renal disease. Peritoneal fibrosis is the main reason leading to declining efficiency and ultrafiltration failure of peritoneum, which restricts the application of PD. It is believed that the Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) of peritoneal mesothelial cells is reversible and the beginning step of peritoneal fibrosis, therefore, it may be the best strategy to prevent and delay the development of peritoneal fibrosis by interfering with EMT at the early stage, and it will definitely bring enormous social and economic benefits to the whole world.更多还原
