Hidden Trouble of Cultural Prejudices in Ecological Construction:Taking Troglodytism and Suspended-coffin Burials of the Miao at Mashan as Examples
【Abstract】 Any cultural feature different from main culture may become the topic for novelty. The troglodytism and suspended-coffin burials of the Miao in the Mashan area of Guizhou Province result in some odd names as troglodytic tribe and Spiderman in modern public discourses. However, they are actually the highlight of human life adapted to the environment. If such prejudices could be avoided, novelty hunting will be replaced by understanding and these people’s sense of inferiority will lead to self-confidence.
