【Abstract】 University autonomy has been regarded as the basic idea of universities in the west for past several hundreds years.Since the Middle Ages the history of university autonomy in France can be divided into three stages,namely,the autonomy of Paris University in the Middle Ages,the autonomy under centralism,and the autonomy after May Movement in France.By analyzing the history of university autonomy in France we can draw the following conclusions:control and anti-control are the subjects of university autonomy;legislation is adopted to protect university autonomy;professors play an important role in university autonomy;the effective way for universities to gain autonomy is to establish administrative contract system.更多还原
