【Abstract】 Fingerprint enhancement technology can effectively enhance fingerprint ridge characteristics, for the fingerprint extraction and matching the details lay a reliable foundation. Introduces a fingerprint image enhancement method based on combination of Gabor filtering and morphology, normalizes the fingerprint image, makes a Gabor filtering and reconstruction from eight different directions.
