陆地棉隐性核雄性不育系抗A2与抗A3的杂优利用
Heterosis Utilization of Recessive Nuclear Male Sterile Line Kang A2 and Kang A3 in Upland Cotton
【摘要】 试验结果表明,引进的隐性核雄性不育系抗A2与抗A3,在西北农林科技大学三原棉花试验站表现完全雄性不育,且不育性稳定,其不育性受一对隐性基因控制;测试品系的细胞质对2个不育系基因缺乏恢复能力;2个不育系产量性状的一般配合力与常规品种中棉所41号相比仍有一定差距,纤维品质性状一般配合力优于中棉所41号;不育系抗A2各性状配合力总体上优于抗A3,是目前杂优育种可利用的亲本。
【Abstract】 The results showed that introduced recessive nuclear male sterile(GMS) lines,Kang A2 and Kang A3,appeared a complete and stable male sterility under local conditions and its sterility controlled by a pair of recessive genes.The cytoplasms of tested lines couldn’t restore fertility of the two male sterile lines.GCAs(general combining ability)of yield characters in the two male sterile lines were not better than Zhong 41,a conventional cotton cultivar,but GCAs of their fiber quality characters were higher than Zhong 41.GCAs of Kang A2 were generally better than those of Kang A3.Thus,Kang A2 is a valuable parent for heterosis in cotton breeding system.
