【Abstract】 An Integrated English Course(Book One to Book Eight) is a major component of the "New Century College English Coursebook Series" published by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press.This paper gives a brief description of its Book Five and Book Six,which are geared towards critical reading.It answers some questions concerning the book structure,teaching aims,and teaching demands.Meanwhile,it offers some suggestions for teaching and learning.更多还原
