【Abstract】 Hemingway’s works are well known in the world for his unique style of linguistic simplicity and succinctness in narration.Cat in the Rain,one of his short stories,is a representative,which shows fully the nature of his repetitious narration.Repetitions like imaginative repetitions,word repetitions and structural repetitions are here used by Hemingway to establish his usual anti-war theme. This thesis is intended to explore what these three repetitions imply and reveal the theme of Cat in the Rain after the analysis from these three aspects.更多还原
