【Abstract】 This paper describes the application of high strength quenched and tempered steel in semi-submersible drilling platform. According to the loading characteristics and load transfer routes of semi-submersible drilling platforms,high strength quenched and tempered steel is used for critical connecting structures and areas with mass openings. Then,welding technology of high strength quenched and tempered is presented and practical applications have proved that wielding crack is well controlled using this technology.更多还原
