【Abstract】 The federal student aid system has been a significant support for the Massification of American higher education since its form in 1958. After several decades of development, the federal student aid system has presented some new features, which is loan dominated, diversified and marketized. However, the system also leads to some problems. The economic crisis broke out in 2008 intensified these problems. This article first outlines current situation and present problems in the federal student aid system, then discusses the impacts of the economic crisis on American higher education, introduces and reviews the reform measures proposed by Obama Government.更多还原
