【Abstract】 This dissertation is an analysis of the factors which shaped British double-diplomacy policy during the First World War in the Near and Middle East.It explains why Britain made a contradictory promise which satisfied the aspirations of both France and the Arabs on the same Turkish territory in Asia,reveals why the British government gradually changed her policy,and shows that Britain’s betrayal on the Arabs had an abominable influence in the Arab world.更多还原
