【Abstract】 This paper,based on modern stylistic criticism theory,is to have a comparative study on two mourning poems written by John Milton and Su Shi respectively.The comparative study lies on their different phonetic characters,vocabulary and syntax styles,the use of rhetoric,the choice of images and discourse cohesion.From the unique perspective of modern stylistic criticism,this paper analyzes two great literators’ same mourning theme,but different attitudes towards to their beloved wives expressed through their different language styles.更多还原
