【Abstract】 Enveloped in the glorious history of the holy city,the melancholic hide their lost souls in the flimsy web of love as ghosts are besieged in empty graves suffocated.In Love Life,the Israeli novelist Zeruva Shalev describes such a community sufferings and individual disaster consciousness in the context of unbearable cultural burden.Taking the prophet’s prediction and folk legend as narrative background,the novel displays man’s disillusionment and spiritual emptiness when the only remaining belief in the traditional cultural legacy is abandoned in the belief-absent time.Human beings are anxiously finding their spiritual salvation in their self-degeneration and self-destruction.更多还原
