【Abstract】 The article will begin with an examination of the holistic care model which is considered as the best way to support the elderly who need care in Hong Kong.This will be followed by a description of development stages that most societies in East Asia have undergone in supporting their elderly people with population aging.Attention will then be turned to Hong Kong as to how the support of the elderly there has gone through the different stages and,in particular,how the different parties concerned,including both the formal and informal sectors,have changed their roles and contributions.更多还原
