【Abstract】 In order to provide evidence for cultivation of main fruit bearing branches in different varieties of litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.), characteristics of the bearing branches and fruit were observed and their correlation was analysed. The results showed that the thickness of the main fruit bearing branch gave the highest impact to the fruit characteristics, and that the length, compound leaf number, leaflet number and total leaf area of the main fruit bearing branches were differently correlated with the fruit characteristics in different litchi varieties. The length of the bearing branches was significantly correlated with the fruit characteristics in litchi cultivar ’Dadingxiang’; the compound leaf number, leaflet number and total leaf area were significantly correlated with the fruit characteristics in cultivars ’Sanyuehong’and ’Caomeili’; the soluble solid content was not significantly correlated with the bearing branches.更多还原
