【Abstract】 Conceptual fluency is defined as "the ability to interrelate the underlying structure of concept to the surface grammar and vocabulary that reflects them".Metaphorical competence constitutes an important part in conceptual fluency.It naturally follows that in order to achieve conceptual fluency,the cultivation of metaphorical competence is essential.Writing,as an important output skill,is inevitably influenced by target language thinking.In English writing class,students should be trained in metaphorical thinking to achieve conceptual fluency.更多还原
