【Abstract】 This article examines the internet as a public sphere in China,with a focus on the limits of online anonymity,censorship,confidentiality of source,complexity of cyber information,etc.It argues that the undue emphasis on free flow of information on the internet ignores the fact that the information itself is the product of specific socio-economic institutions and social relations.The internet as a public sphere refers to a special kind of social forums of information dissemination and deliberation,or a public space with particular publicness in the context of contemporary China.更多还原
