【Abstract】 The majority of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma will present with stage Ⅲ and/or Ⅳ in China.The regimens of curative radiotherapy with chemotherapy are mainstay for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma because of locoregional relapse and distant metastases.There is evidence to suggest that concurrent chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma would be standard strategy in mainland China,but scheduling of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is unanswered.This article reviews the recent literature and the relevant issues concerning the role of chemotherapy in combination with radiotherapy in the treatment of patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.更多还原
