【Abstract】 It seems that people no longer talk about realism in literary criticism in China today,as if it is already out of date. But Fredric Jameson has suggested a third dimension of realism by tracing the debate on realism between Lukacs and Brecht and developed the conceptions of "cognitive mapping" and "geopolitical aesthetics". And thus he revitalizes realism in the postmodern situation. This essay mainly deals with Jameson’s argument and the process of its formation.更多还原
