一种面向3G终端的MOG中动态改变模型外观的实现方法
A 3G TERMINAL-ORIENTED SOLUTION FOR REALISING DYNAMIC VARIATION OF AVATAR APPEARANCE IN MMOG
【摘要】 多玩家在线类游戏(MOG)是目前最流行的网络游戏类型之一,玩家通过在一个虚幻的游戏世界中扮演或控制特定角色或对象,在可交互的虚拟环境中完成特定任务或实现特定目标。针对目前在MOG中常见的动态模型换装解决方案中的弊端,提出一种新的设计和实现思路,通过实时更改模型纹理材质和多边形顶点数据来改变其外观,可以有效地避免角色设计、纹理容量和动画同步问题,改善了制作流程和实现效率,有利于面向3G智能终端的网络游戏运行效率的提高。
【Abstract】 Massively multiplayer online game(MMOG) is one of the most popular types of network games,the players can accomplish specific tasks or implement specific goals in interactive virtual environment by acting as or control a specific role or object in an imaginary game world.A new design and implementation thought is proposed in the paper in light of the drawbacks of current common solution schemes of avatar appearance variation in MMOG.Through timely change the texture materials and polygon vertex data of the avatars,the appearance is varied. With this method,the problems of role design pipeline,texture capacity and animation synchronisation can be effectively avoided,game production processes and realising efficiency are also improved.It benefits the melioration of running efficiency of 3G-oriented smart terminals network games.
