【Abstract】 For the cause of hummocky cross-stratification,there was no experimental method to validate it by predecessors.Through a laboratory experiment of eddy current movement,it was found out that the moundy deposit slightly convexed upwards and slightly inclined around and formed in the laver center.Thus the new viewpoint of the cause of moundy cross-stratification is put forward.At the same time,the form mechanism of the storm depositional sequence is also explained by using the circle movement theory.更多还原
