【Abstract】 While engineering competence is one of the essential qualities of the engineer,the development of students’ engineering competence remains a weak point in university engineering education.It is maintained that engineering higher education should strive to upgrade the students’ engineering competence.The connotation of modern engineering competence is firstly presented in this paper,then the CDIO engineering education initiative and the currently problem of engineering competence cultivation are analyzed,and on this basis,the valid approach based on engineering competence cultivation is advanced and discussed,which can be used for reference in the course of the exploration of the engineering education reform in our country.更多还原
