金属团簇化合物MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4和MoCu4I2(Py)6S4的超快非线性光学特性
Ultra-fast nonlinear optical properties of two metal cluster compounds MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4 and MoCu4I2(Py)6S4
【摘要】 在波长为400 nm、脉冲宽度为150 fs的激光脉冲激发下,应用Z-scan技术研究了平面正方形金属团簇化合物MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4和MoCu4I2(Py)6S4的非线性光学特性。实验结果表明:这两个金属团簇化合物非线性折射特性均表现为先谷后峰结构——自聚焦效应,而均无非线性吸收。通过理论拟合获得了这两个材料的三阶极化率,分别为1.38×10-22 m2/W和1.09×10-22 m2/W。该值与其他团簇材料在飞秒脉冲条件下的值相近,表明这两种材料在光子学器件应用方面具有很大的潜力。
【Abstract】 Nonlinear optical properties of two plan square metal cluster compounds MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4 and MoCu4I2(Py)6S4 were investigated by using Z-scan technique under laser exciting with a pulse width of 150 fs at a wavelength of 400 nm.Experimental results show that the metal cluster compounds MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4 and MoCu4I2(Py)6S4 exhibit valley-peak structure and optical self-focusing effect,without optical nonlinear absorption.The third-order nonlinear susceptibilities χ(3) of MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4 and MoCu4I2(Py)6S4 were 1.38×10-22 m2/W and 1.09×10-22 m2/W,respectively.The values of the third-order nonlinear susceptibilities for the two materilals near to that of the other metal clusters under femtosecond pulse.It shows the potentiality of MoCu4Br2(MePy)6S4 and MoCu4I2(Py)6S4 on the photonics devices application.
