【摘要】 本文采用文献计量学方法对《华侨华人历史研究》1999—2008年刊发的372篇论文的引文数量、引文类型、引文年代、半衰期、普赖斯指数、期刊自引率等指标进行统计分析,以反映华侨华人研究的现状和水平。得出结论:《华侨华人历史研究》平均引文率高,研究的实力增强;引文涉猎范围广,但核心区效应不明显;引文类型多样,以图书为主;研究人员利用外文文献的能力需加强;文献知识更新速度慢,应引起文献收藏部门的注意。更多还原

【Abstract】 In an attempt to assess the current research situation of Overseas Chinese studies, this article employs the methodology of documentary metrological analysis to analyze the quotations cited in 372 articles published in the Journal of Overseas Chinese History Studies between 1999 and 2008. The statistic parameters utilized for this assessment include the number of citations,the types of citation matrices,the publication dates of the original sources,the grade of citation freshness,the Price Index,and the self quotation rate. The author concludes with the following research findings: A) The articles published in the Journal are ranked high on average in terms of the citation rate; B) Though the citation matrices vary,the main sources of the citations are monographs,journal articles,and newspaper articles; C) While the citations touch upon a wide range of topics,their connections with the main field of Overseas Chinese studies are not always salient; D) While the overall research strength of scholars in the field has been increasing,their ability in comprehending foreign-language materials and their knowledge of the academic frontier research findings need to be enhanced and enriched; E) Libraries and relevant document collection departments should pay attention to these new developments and quickly update their collections.更多还原
