几个新选水稻两用核不育系育性对光周期与温度的反应
Response of Fertility of A Few New P(T)GMS Lines to Photoperiod and Temperature in Rice
【摘要】 以近年湖南新选育的7个水稻两用核不育系为材料,在它们育性转换敏感期,用不同光周期与不同温度处理,研究了它们育性对光周期与温度的反应.结果表明,在相同温度(30.5℃、23.5℃)条件下,在育性转换光敏感期进行15 d左右(13~18 d)长、短日处理,7个材料均表现不育,自交结实率为0,花粉可染率为0~2.0%,说明这7个材料均为温敏型水稻两用核不育系.在长日条件下,在育性转换温敏感期用23.5℃的恒温冷水连续处理6 d,7个材料也均表现不育,自交结实率为0,花粉可染率为0~0.3%;用22.0℃的恒温冷水连续处理6 d,株25S、株77S、H628S、DS、88S与96-5-2S 6个材料依然表现不育,自交结实率为0,花粉可染率为0~0.1%,但H629S则表现为可育,自交结实率为24.0%,花粉可染率为29.7%.说明株25S、株77S、H628S、DS、88S与96-5-2S育性转换的临界温度小于22.0℃(恒温),而H629S育性转换的临界温度大于22.0℃(恒温),小于23.5℃(恒温).在湖南,如果在生产上用来进行杂交制种,株25S、株77S、H628S、DS、88S与96-5-2S会比较安全,而H629S则存在较大风险.
【Abstract】 The responses of fertilities of 7 new P(T)GMS lines to photoperiod and temperature were studied in rice(Oryza sativa L.) by treatment with different photoperiods and different temperature at their fertility alternation sensitive stages.The results showed that the fertilities of all the 7 P(T)GMS lines were sterile with bagged seed set of zero and stainable pollen grains of 0~2.0% when they were treated with short day or long day for about 15 days(13~18 days) at their photoperiod sensitive stages related to fertility alternation under high temperature(30.5 ℃) or low temperature(23.5 ℃).Based on the results,it is deduced that they are all TGMS lines,and not PGMS lines.Under the long day condition,treated with controlled cold water of constant 23.5 ℃(water depth 20 cm about) for consecutive 6 days at their thermo-sensitive stages inducing male fertility alternation,the fertilities of all the 7 TGMS lines were sterile either,their bagged seed set were zero,and their stainable pollen grains were 0~0.3%.When treated with 22 ℃ for consecutive 6 days at the same sensitive stages and under the same photoperiod condition,the fertilities of 6 TGMS lines,i.e.Zhu25S,Zhu77S,H628S,DS,88S,and 96-5-2S,were still sterile with bagged seed set of zero and stainable pollen grains of 0~0.1%,however,the fertility of H629S was fertile with bagged seed set of 24.0% and stainable pollen grains of 29.7%.Those results indicate that the critical temperature inducing male sterility of Zhu25S,Zhu77S,H628S,DS,88S,and 96-5-2S is less than 22 ℃(constant temperature),while that of H629S is more than 22 ℃ but less than 23.5 ℃.According to their fertilities expression under low temperature,it is reasonably thought that Zhu25S,Zhu77S,H628S,DS,88S,and 96-5-2S will be safe if they are used in hybrid seeds production in Hunan province,but H629S will be not.
