【Abstract】 Communicative approach has been proved effective in cultivating students’ English communicative ability in the past 30 years.This methodology,however,has encountered difficulty in China’s vocational colleges.Based on some observations and investigations,the main disadvantages are found as follows: the deep influence of traditional English teaching method,the limitations of the examination-oriented education,the poor English levels at enrolment,big-sized classroom teaching,the heavy teaching tasks and the limited class hours.更多还原
