甲状腺乳头状癌组织中基质金属蛋白酶-2表达与微血管密度的关系
Relationship between the expression of matrixmetalloproteinase-2 and microvessel density in papillary thyroid carcinoma
【摘要】 目的研究甲状腺乳头状癌组织中基质金属蛋白酶-2(MMP-2)表达及与微血管密度(MVD)的关系。方法应用免疫组织化学S-P法观察90例甲状腺肿瘤(其中甲状腺腺瘤35例,甲状腺乳头状癌55例)石蜡包埋组织中的MMP-2、CD34表达。并在CD34染色切片上检测MVD。结果在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中MMP-2阳性表达率(67.3%)明显高于甲状腺腺瘤(28.6%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。甲状腺乳头状癌组织中的MVD的平均值(62±4)个/HP明显高于甲状腺腺瘤(45±3)个/HP,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。MMP-2阳性表达组MVD平均值(68±4)个/HP明显高于MMP-2阴性表达组(45±4)个/HP,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 MMP-2可能通过促进甲状腺乳头状癌间质血管生成,促进肿瘤的侵袭和转移,并可能成为判定甲状腺乳头状癌生物学行为和预后的指标。
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the expression of matrixmetalloproteinase-2 ( MMP-2) and its correlation with microvessel density ( MVD) in papillary thyroid carcinoma( PTC) . Methods The expressions of MMP-2 and MVD were detected in 90 case of thyroid neoplasm including 35 case of thyroid adenoma and 55 case of thyroid papillary carcinoma. Results The expression of MMP-2 in PTC was significantly higher than that in thyroid adenoma ( 67. 3% vs 28. 6% ,P < 0. 05) . The average of MVD in PTC was higher than that in thyroid adenoma( P < 0. 05) . The average of MVD was higher in MMP-2 positive group than that in MMP-2 negative group( P < 0. 05) . Conclusion MMP-2 may promote angiogenesis and play an important role in tumor invasion and metastasis,which can be used as an important indicator to eveluate the biologic behavior and prognosis in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma.
