【Abstract】 The Duan Festival is one of the most ceremonioous and important festivals for the Shui people.It is the Shui people’s worship for their ancestors and celebration of historical memories and harvest.In the folk activities of the Duan Festival celebration,there’s a series of social functions and cultural symbolism such as sacrifice,pray,coagulation,communication,education,and entertainment etc.With the development of society,the social and cultural connotation of the Duan Festival has caused a series of changes in social transition period.Facing the new trend of social development,the exploration on the Duan Festival’s social and cultural changes in function will promote the traditional culture and modern culture of Shui nationality,and it will also promote the local economy and social harmonious development.更多还原
