【Abstract】 "Double high" staff (staff of high ranking technical title and high educational level) are the backbone and vital force in institutions of higher learning. Their ideological and political qualities have a direct impact on the quality of talent nurturing. Therefore,to improve the Party spirit in "double high" staff is now an important task of Party building. We should create a comprehensive awareness of "great double cultivation" and actively strengthen the cultivation of the Party spirit in the "double high" staff.
