【Abstract】 With the characteristic of ship manufacturing processes,the existing way of material controlling in a ship manufacturer is analyzed and problems are discovered.Thus,Kanban technique is proposed to control material purchasing.The number of Kanbans should be determined by using ABC and statistics analysis.Based on this concept,an algorithm for determining the number of Kanbans under demand uncertainty is proposed.By doing so,raw material inventory in this ship manufacturer is significantly reduced.更多还原
