激光诱导荧光光谱法检测高纯激光晶体中的痕量稀土杂质
Determination of trace rare earth impurities in high purity laser crystals using laser-induced fluorescence
【摘要】 以功率为40mW、波长为488nm的氩离子激光器作为激发光源,采用S2000光谱仪接收荧光。在高纯激光晶体Er:YAG中检测出痕量Nd3+离子4F3/2→4I9/2跃迁的946nm特征荧光峰和Yb3+离子2F5/2→2F7/2跃迁的1030nm特征荧光峰,钕和镱的痕量浓度低于2×10-6。同样方法在Pr:GdVO4单晶中检测到痕量Nd3+和Yb3+的荧光发射,特征峰分别在912nm和1031nm处,钕和镱的痕量浓度低于0.7×10-6。
【Abstract】 Using Ar3+ laser (with power of 40mV and emitting wavelength of 488nm) as excitation source, trace impurities of Nd3+ and Yb3+ ions (concentrations lower than 2×10-6) in high purity laser crystal Er ︰YAG were detected using laser-induced fluorescence. The characteristic fluorescence peak at 946nm is corresponding to 4F3/2→4I9/4 transition of Nd3+, and the peak at 1030nm is corresponding to 2F5/2→2F7/2 transition of Yb3+. Trace Nd3+ and Yb3+ (concentrations lower than 0.7×10-6) in Pr ︰GdVO4 crystal were detected by the same method also, with the emission peak at 912nm corresponding to Nd3+, and at 1031nm corresponding to Yb3+.
