微生物作用下放射性废物水泥固化体的长期稳定性测试程序
Long-term Stability of Cemented Radioactive Waste Forms under Microbial Actions
【摘要】 水泥制品因其表观结构的完整性,已广泛用作中、低水平放射性废物的胶结固化材料。天然环境中普遍存在各种类型微生物。地下放射性废物处置库和废物存放场地存在的腐蚀性微生物——氧化硫硫杆菌会影响废物处置的长期(300~500 a)稳定性和安全性。本文介绍了美国核管会制定的加速水泥固化体微生物降解的测试程序及其改进程序,供我国监管部门、核废物产生者和处置业主参考。
【Abstract】 Because of the apparent structural integrity of cement preparations,cement has been widely used as a binder for solidification of radioactive wastes.Due to the ubiquitous occurrence of many types of microorganisms in the natural environment,the aggressive microorganisms,Sulfur Oxidizing Bacteria(SOBs) occurring at the waste storage site and subsurface of repositories may influence the long-term(300—500 years) stability and safety of radioactive waste repositories.This paper introduced a testing procedure,formulated by U.S.NRC,for evaluating the microbial accelerating degradation of cement-solidified radioactive waste forms and its modified version as a reference for the regulator,repository operator,and waste generator in our country.
