【Abstract】 The new library building of Harbin Medical University presents its characteristics of harmony,energy-saving and environmental protection.As for design,the notion of humanization and progressiveness is taken as a priority.Regarding to the architectural style,the traditional and classical features are integrated with the modern and innovative ones.On its interior decoration and furniture design,the thoughts of energy-saving and environmental protection are paid attention to equally,which reflects both humanization and people-orientation.After three years’ efforts,a grand,classical,environmental-beauty library building has been built with sophisticated facilities and multi-functions.Now the library building is a landmark for the university and favorite studying place for students.With its one-stop service system including book collection,circulation and reading,it is very convenient for faculties and students.The library is the pioneer in China in aspects such as bidirectional controlled gate-guard system,identification card,timber desks and chairs,energy-saving reading-lights,etc.更多还原
