【Abstract】 Based on the translation of the relevant content of reports and papers for materials science and engineering international conferences,the paper analyzed the important role that expertise on materials science and engineering plays in translation practice.Through the analysis,it demonstrated that with the fast development of various academic disciplines and their frontiers advancing, and with China’s deepening integration with the outside world,a translator’s advanced knowledge in the academic area he is working with is considered a must.更多还原
