【Abstract】 The core issue of Language Transfer is how to assess the impact of the mother language in Second Language Acquisition.This effect can be positive or negative,so the transfer can be classified as positive or negative transfer.Positive transfer may help language learners to comprehend a target language faster,while negative transfer hinders them from mastering a target language.This paper focuses on the positive and negative transfer of the mother tongue in SLA,the study and analysis on language transfer can help teachers and students combine the similarities and differences of Chinese and English languages and cultures better,stimulate students’ positive transfer and avoid their negative transfer in English learning.Only when learners pay attention to the environment chosen,can they overcome the negative transfer and speak pure English.更多还原
