【摘要】 城市形态高度概括和表达了城市的物质形式及其人文内涵。城市形态分析是认知城市并进行城市历史保护规划所必需的理论工作。吸取国外城市形态研究的先进理论,结合我国的学术传统和实际情况,创新发展适用于中国的城市形态分析方法并尝试运用于城市历史文化的保护规划工作具有十分重要的意义。英国城市地理学家的城市形态学理论和意大利的建筑类型学理论是很好的学习对象。要解决的关键问题是中国城市的各类"城市形态单元"和"建筑类型过程"的观察确定方法。相关的城市形态研究结果可直接服务于城市历史保护规划。更多还原

【Abstract】 The concept of urban morphology is concerned with the physical urban form and associated socio-cultural representations.Integrated and multidisciplinary morphological analysis is important for understanding and managing changes to urban landscapes.Based on a systematic review of international research on urban form and the urban studies in China,It argues that it is necessary to develop urban morphology analysis methods and techniques adapting to Chinese situations.Theories of the Anglo-German geographical school and the Italian architectural school are major sources of methodology research.It is necessary to identify the urban morphological unit and architectural typological process.It is expected that the research outputs with both theoretical and practical values will directly contribute to the conservation planning of Chinese cities.更多还原
