表面富含羟基的单分散PS微球的制备与表征

【摘要】 为了提高单分散聚苯乙烯(PS)微球表面的反应活性,用分散聚合法制备聚苯乙烯微球的过程中(反应进行到14h时)加入甲基丙烯酸羟乙酯(HEMA)功能单体,合成了表面带有适量羟基功能团、粒度均一、表面形貌均匀的单分散功能微球(简称羟基功能微球).运用红外光谱(FTIR)、核磁共振(1HNMR)、元素分析(EA)、扫描电镜(SEM)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)对羟基功能微球进行表征,并考察聚合反应条件对聚合物微球的形态、粒径及其分布的影响.结果表明:随着反应时间的延长,羟基功能微球的粒径增大,分散系数(ε)变小,粒径分布变窄,最后达到稳定;随着HEMA加入量的增加,羟基功能微球的粒径增大,分数系数(ε)变小,粒径分布变窄,当HEMA加入量增加到一定值后两者达到稳定.

【Abstract】 In order to improve the reaction activity of monodispersed polystyrene microspheres,the uniform and smooth monodisperse hydroxyl functionalized microspheres with a proper quantity of hydroxyl group on the surface were prepared by dispersion polymerization with the addition of HEMA at 14 h.The microspheres were characterized by FTIR,1HNMR,EA,SEM and XPS.The effects of polymerization conditions on the size and size distribution of polymer particles were investigated through condition experiments.It is showed that an increase in the reaction time will increase the size of hydroxyl functionalized microspheres,decrease ε,narrow the size distribution and finally reach a steady state.Increasing the amount of HEMA will increase the size of hydroxyl functionalized microspheres,decrease ε,and broaden the size distribution.Finally,the size and size distribution of polymer particles will reach a steady state with the certain amount of HEMA.
