【Abstract】 English teachers’ professional competence plays an irreplaceable key role in the process of developing students’ English competence.And teachers’ own knowledge structure not only influences the development of students’ knowledge structure but also greatly affects the teaching result.The author of this paper analyzes the present situation of higher English education and teachers’ knowledge structure based on the relevant research,exploring the existing problems and proposes the importance of establishing English teachers’ multi-dimensioned knowledge structure which is indispensable and very essential for rearing multi-skilled English personnel to meet the growing needs of rapidly developing society.更多还原
