【Abstract】 The earliest domestic offshore oil platforms have now come into the end of its service period, but because of energy demand and offshore production needs, they need to continue serve as production platform. To sum up, in order to adapt to domestic aging platforms’ safety supervising, it’s need to put forward a new safety supervising system which based on the life extension assessment, and to confirm the main elements of concern for the maritime safety supervision system for aging platforms.
