【Abstract】 With the development of computer hardware,foundry CAE technology has become more and more practical.This pa-per introduces both the basic principles of foundry CAE technology and some applications of InteCAST software on ferrous alloy cast-ings,such as lost foam casting,vacuum casting.The applications show that the software can aid technologists to optimize cast process by forecasting casting defects arising during mold filling and solidification processes.更多还原
