【Abstract】 Landscape,rather than a tangible entity,is more the spiritual and cultural representation of human being.The visual quality of landscape is certainly established through cognitive processes of human beings such as memorizing,association,imagination,perception and understanding.The dissimilation by science and technology and the lack of humanism in modern property construction have led to increasingly serious ecological and cultural crisis.Therefore,there is an urgent need to understand the problems against sustainable development of urban and regional areas through application of new theories of landscape ecology and the concept of multifunctional landscapes,and to establish an objective of creating favorable living environment through adoption of the concept of landscape philosophy.Traditional Chinese urban landscape is permeated with the philosophy of Fengshui theory,which possesses unique identities of landscape culture.Only when the human psychological experiences(perceptions and cognitions)are connected with the characteristics of the landscape,can an optimized habitat environment be created.更多还原
