不锈钢基底上的碳纳米管场发射阴极及其在像素管中的应用

【摘要】 用丝网印刷技术在不锈钢基底上制备了碳纳米管场发射阴极,它由一层多壁碳纳米管浆料和一层粘结层组成,这种双层结构增强了碳纳米管与基底之间的结合力和导电性。采用真空封接的工艺实现了碳纳米管场发射阴极在像素管中的应用,像素管以钼网作为栅极,荧光屏作为阳极,在10kV的阳极电压和脉冲模式下得到了均匀并且稳定的发光效果,在50h的测试中没有明显的电流衰减,说明其中的碳纳米管场发射阴极有较长的寿命。另外,制备的像素管具有较低的功耗,有可能应用于户外大屏幕显示器。

【Abstract】 The carbon nanotube (CNT) field emision cathode was prepared on stainless steel substrate by silk screen printing. The cathode consists of a surface layer of multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) paste and an adhesion sub-layer. The two-layer structure enhances the adhesive force and conductivity between MWCNTs and substrate. The pixel tubes fully sealed in vacuum were fabricated using the MWCNT cathode with molybdenum mesh as the grid and luminescent screen as the anode. The light emission is even and stable under the anode voltage 10kV and pulsed gate voltage without attenuation of field-emission current after 50hr in testing. It implies the long service lifetime of MWCNT field emission cathode on stainless steel substrate. In addition, the fabricated pixel tubes have low power consumption and could be used in giant outdoor displays.
