螺旋线行波管非线性失真分析
Analysis of Nonlinear Distortion in Helix Traveling Wave Tubes
【摘要】 非线性失真是空间行波管最重要的性能指标之一。本文研究了双渐变螺旋线慢波结构各个参量,如长度以及螺距对行波管非线性失真的影响,确定了对不同非线性失真影响最大的结构参量,分析了非线性失真产生的根源。根据仿真结果,进一步地对行波管的慢波结构进行了初步优化。结果表明:优化后谐波失真改善0.45dB,AM/PM系数减小1deg/dB,三阶交调失真降低1.9dB。
【Abstract】 The influence of various factors,such as the length and pitches of the double taper helical slow wave structure on the nonlinear distortion of the space traveling tubes(STWT) was simulated.The structural parameters which affect different distortion most were identified,respectively;and the possibe causes of the nonlinear distortion were analyzed.The slow wave structure was preliminarily optimized with the simulated results.The optimization reduces the harmonic distortion,the analog modulation/phase modulation(AM/PM) coefficients and the 3rd inter-modulation by 0.45dB,and 1deg/dB,respective.
