【Abstract】 Methods for preparation and purification of sulfur tetrafluoride were reviewed.Sulfur tetrafluoride could be prepared by reactions of elementary sufur or various halogenated sulfurides with elementary fluorine, hydrogen fluoride and its salts of organic bases, alkaline metal fluorides, or nonmetal fluorides.To remove impurities in the products of sulfur tetrafluoride, strategies were reported such as reactions with mercury or amalgam, absorption on activated carbon, combination with organic bases, and conditioning at high temperature.A few of reasonable methods were suggested to obtain sulfur tetrafluoride of high yield and high purity.更多还原
