环氧树脂母粒增容聚苯乙烯/三元乙丙橡胶共混物的研究
Effect of EP Compatibilizing Masterbatch on the Blend of PS/EPDM
【摘要】 将聚苯乙烯(PS)、环氧树脂(EP)、三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)或三元乙丙橡胶接枝丙烯酸(EPDM-g-AA)三种物料通过控制工艺条件和共混程序,得到PS和EPDM分布在环氧网格中特殊结构的增容母粒,再将增容母粒加入PS/EPDM体系中。结果表明,两种增容母粒都能提高PS/EPDM的冲击性能,与不加增容母粒的PS/EPDM共混体系相比,采用EPDM为弹性体的增容母粒与PS/EPDM的共混物冲击强度提高了109%。EPDM在PS中分布最均匀,冲击断面变形最大。固化剂质量为EP质量的15%~20%时,母粒溶解的质量最少,形成环氧网格结构最多,增容效果最好。
【Abstract】 Two special masterbatches were made by blending epoxy resin(EP),polystyrene(PS),and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer(EPDM) or acrylic acid grafted ethylene-propylene-diene monomer(EPDM-g-AA),which were separately used in the PS/EPDM blends as a compatibilizer.While both compatiblizers improved the impact strength of PS/EPDM blends,the EPDM based one gave rise to an increase of 109 %,compared with the plain blend.The EPDM based compatibilizer made EPDM dispersed finer in PS matrix,resulting in more plastic deformation in the notch surface than EPDM-g-AA based one.When the curing agent content was 15 %~20 %,the best compatibilization was achieved,evidenced by the lowest toluene extraction mass.
