【Abstract】 The article reviewed the present and future situations on the improvement and utilization of tropical and subtropical maize(Zea mays L.) resources in temperate zone at home and in abroad.By these breeding approaches such as mix selection,recurrent selection or introducing excellent gene resources each other using the introduced and identified tropical or subtropical germplasm and Chinese temperate germplasm,these elite maize materials,possessing high resistance to diseases,pests,drought,infertility and good agronomic characters,could be screened out.更多还原
