增强现实技术在文化遗产数字化保护中的应用

【摘要】 文化遗产数字化保护是文化遗产保护发展的一个趋势。"背景环境中的古迹遗址—城镇风貌和自然景观变化下的文化遗产保护"是当前文化遗产保护的新课题。应用增强现实技术能够充分体现这一新主题。通过分析文化遗产保护的现状与存在矛盾,引入并介绍了增强现实技术概念、特点,指出它在遗产数字化保护上所具有的优越性。最后以其在国内外历史古迹现场数字化重建中的成功应用为例,进一步说明了增强现实技术在文化遗产数字化保护上具有极大作用。

【Abstract】 Cultural heritage conservation through digital technologies is a trend of development nowadays. "Monuments and Sites in their Settings – Conserving Cultural Heritage in Changing Townscapes and Landscapes" is a hot topic in this research field. Augmented reality can reach this goal and solve the problems in current conservation techniques. The present status and problems in culture heritage conservation were analyzed. Deficiencies in current digital protection methods were discussed. The conception of augmented reality technology and its special characteristics were introduced. The great potential of augmented reality in the culture heritage conservation was illustrated through some successful applications of the technology in on-site digital reconstruction home and abroad.
