【Abstract】 By analyzing the reality of the present construction of new rural community, this essay points out its problems and crises. Referring to Rod Hackney’s(ex-Chairman of International Union of Architects) operation mode on"Community Architecture",the authors hold that the construction of new rural community should comply with the pattern of selfconstruction and joint construction with all social sectors involved.On the premise of showing full respect to the rural culture of area and villagers’ customs and values,some issues concerning the technique and building in the construction of new rural community are discussed in the paper so as to quest for a way to the construction of new rural community with Chinese characteristics.更多还原
