基于AD7896的激光器出射功率测量与控制设计

【摘要】 半导体激光器随工作温度的增加,其阈值电流增大,出射功率下降。为了使半导体激光二极管在恒电流下输出恒功率,根据半导体激光器的结构和特性设计一种基于AD7896的激光器出射功率测量与控制电路。通过测量激光器上的电流变化,经运算放大器AD707放大和AD7896转换为数字信号反馈给微处理器,再由微处理器控制激光器出口端的偏振镜旋转角度,实现了激光器出射功率的恒定。该设计应用于现代彩色数码冲印加工系统中,保证了激光对相纸扫描过程中不因温度的变化而影响冲印彩色照片的色彩效果。

【Abstract】 With the increase of laser diode temperature,its current threshold increases and its shot power drops.According to the semiconductor laser structure and characteristics,a laser output power measurement and control circuits based on AD7896 is designed in order to keep the output power of semiconductor laser diode constant under constant current.By measuring the current changes of the laser,and amplifying it through the operational amplifier AD707,and converting it into digital signals and giving it back to the microprocessor,then the microprocessor controls the laser-export side of the polarization rotation to keep the power of the laser exports constant.The design is used in the modern color printing digital processing system to ensure that the laser scanning process does not affect the color prints color photo effects because of the temperature changing.
